Bhavika Dugar brings to the forum a unique medium of art, known as printmaking. She produces prints that incorporate layering of lithography and relief printmaking and has managed to create a podium that represents this medium in Nepal. As a passionate artist, she has managed to master about 8 different printmaking techniques.
She began her career in 2017 with a solo exhibition and was the first person to display works using pronto plate lithography at Siddhartha Art Gallery. Since then she has collaborated with several exhibitions and is currently self-employed at Chaap by Bhavika, a printmaking studio she established in October 2019. Bhavika Dugar has completed her undergraduate degree at Wheaton College Massachusetts in Visual Arts along with Business and Management Studies. Four of her prints are a part of the permanent collection at the Wheaton College Archives.
