Crafting Connections was a Danfe Arts–curated workshop series grounded in accessibility, sustainability, and shared learning. Conceived as a space where art functions as a connector rather than a barrier, the series brought together diverse practices to explore making as an intuitive, community-driven process. Through hands-on engagement, dialogue, and personal storytelling, participants were invited to rethink creativity as something rooted in everyday materials, lived experiences, and collective exchange.
Ink & Imagination by Wang Lama introduced participants to pen and ink through foundational drawing techniques and hands-on exploration, offering insight into the artist’s process while encouraging experimentation.
From Motifs to Memories: The Art of Mithila Storytelling by Sapana Sanjeevani explored traditional Mithila motifs alongside personal narratives of identity, home, and community, highlighting the practice as both rooted and evolving.
Between the Brushstrokes: An Art Writing Workshop by Srizu Bajracharya focused on translating visual and emotional responses to art into written expression, encouraging critical reflection and engagement through language.
See. Imagine. Illustrate: A Visual Storytelling Workshop by Prakash Ranjit invited participants to translate everyday observations into illustrated narratives, emphasizing visual storytelling, imagination, and accessibility across skill levels.
