Evocative Waves

Evocative Waves is a deeply personal and evocative exploration of memory, emotion, and the beauty of tradition. Drawing inspiration from her childhood, the work weaves together the symbolism of the five-strand braid, a motif that flows across time to create a sense of continuity. The installation brings the delicate interplay between fabric and memory to life, inviting viewers to reflect on the true meaning of ‘blue’—a color that represents peace, vastness, and connection.

This installation was a part of the Artist Commissions curated by Wribhu Borphukon for India Art Fair’s Young Collector’s Program 2025 at Stir Art Gallery in Delhi in collaboration with Danfe Arts.
